Artist of Light

Visual Sorcery has had the privilege of working with iLuminate to provide lighting control solutions for their Off Broadway show "Artist of Light" running at New World Stages until October 13th. "Artist of Light" is a unique fusion of technology and art utilizing light suits composed of electroluminescent wire, and LEDs perfectly timed with top notch dance performance and story telling to create a truly stunning show.

For the show, Lightforge is being used to control the house lighting rig, as well as LED effect lighting used in some of the set pieces. Lightforge was also used to create some of the more complicated effects within the show that were then exported and played back through iLuminate's proprietary systems. Visual Sorcery was also able to provide iLuminate with custom exporter, output format, and importer addons to allow them to seamlessly integrate Lightforge into their workflow, as well as add the ability to run future shows directly out of Lightforge without any outside conversion.
