Fine mover movements

    How would I make fine movements for movers?

    The movement tool won't let me get to a certain percentage.. it jumps by 2%

    and I don't think the arrow keys are making changes?

    do I need to add a manual control in the fixture definition that controls the fine movement?

    or does this have to do with 8bit or 16bit control?

    also my movements seem to be DRASTIC.. moving one percent on PAN moves the mover like 5 feet..

    is this due to my fixture definition?

    or my settings on the mover?

    or both?

    To do fine movement on a fixture you can either make adjustments on the positioner while holding down the CTRL key, or you can use the mouse wheel while moused over the pan/tilt areas of the positioner.

    cool.. ok.. great, I also I think I may have my movers backwards.. forcing me to use the 540 degree setting..

    when a mover boots up and sets itself.. does it normal face the front of the rear?

    my control panel is on the front but that's the same side it boots to.. and now, I could put them in 180 degree mode.. cause they are near a wall..
