  • We are happy to announce that we've just released a new update for Lightforge. We added in some usability changes with this update, most notably, tooltips on everything, and interactive feedback in the node systems. The remote web interface also got some love in this update. Check out the patch notes for a full listing of changes.

    New Features:
    • New interface and functionality for remote web interface.
    • Added tooltips for all buttons, panels, nodes, etc.
    • Added interactive feedback system for profile nodes.
    • Added interactive feedback system for effect nodes.
    • Node systems now highlight data paths downstream of themselves.
    • Fixtures can now be unpatched without being removed from the rig.
    • Made group selections more easily visible.
    • Added shortcut buttons for showlist functions.
    • Added buttons for pan and zoom in node panels.
    • You can no longer add or delete effect or profile input or output nodes. They are added automatically when you create a new effect or profile.

    Bug Fixes:
    • Attribute node no longer crashes in rare circumstances.
    • Cue transitions now behave properly on fixtures with pan or tilt inversion enabled.
    • Lightforge no longer crashes in regions that don’t use commas to separate decimal places.
    • Marker index labels now expand to allow multi digit index values.
    • Intensity bump button now works reliably.
    • Fixed visual inconsistencies in palette editor.
    • Fixed scrubbing issue, and palette color coding in cue editor.
    • You can no longer pin effect folders.
