Effects slider do not slide
Hmm, that's interesting. I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Let me know if you have this issue again, and if so, can you take a screenshot of your interface and send it to me? Chris Monson Lead Developer Visual Sorcery

Step effects not auto saving
This is the same through all effects, not just step based ones. It's something that I'd like to change at some point, however I don't have an ETA for when you can expect this in. It's on the list though. Chris Monson Lead Develo…

Palette activation
Yes, the palette panel is being reworked probably before the next patch, or the following one. This will include changes to allow palettes to be reorganized, and will make the palettes have the same buttons the effects are using. Chris Monson Lead …

Lightforge Build v0.3.1.1
This is an issue in v0.3.0.6 and earlier. Occasionally on updating the lightforge executable doesn't get released properly and it results in a file named Lightforge.exe.PendingOverwrite or Lightforge.exe.tmp being created in your lightforge dir…

Added Music got stacking errors
Hmm.. yeah, it apparently didn't like building the waveform for that particular aac file. Would you mind sending me the aac file when you get a chance so I can test it and figure out where that's going wrong? I don't believe I've…

Mover Effect error
I'll look into that. The first one is semi-normal and harmless, the second one I'll need to take a look at. Chris Monson Lead Developer Visual Sorcery

"S" splits cues, and yes, you are correct, that is not saving. I'll put it on the list to implement in the near future. Chris Monson Lead Developer Visual Sorcery

Disapearing cue and palette issues with Errors
I think you may be correct. What are the specs of your computer? Do you have the default interface set up still? On slow machines sometimes it struggles to redraw everything under certain circumstances. Try removing any unneeded panels (dmx view in …

Disapearing cue and palette issues with Errors
Would you mind sending me your show file? That error you are getting is a harmless error related to drawing keyframes in the effect settings panel. It doesn't affect anything other than an occasional keyframe not getting drawn when an effect is…

Palette Updating
This is something we will resolve. Until we do, you can recall a palette, make your changes to it and then right click on the palette and select update palette if you need to see the changes. Chris Monson Lead Developer Visual Sorcery

Fine mover movements
To do fine movement on a fixture you can either make adjustments on the positioner while holding down the CTRL key, or you can use the mouse wheel while moused over the pan/tilt areas of the positioner. Chris Monson Lead Developer Visual Sorcery

Midi Control data
Sure thing. So the midi data the Lightforge outputs is Midi Show Control. This is a standardized set of commands that is sent as System Exclusive (SysEx) messages out your midi port. Any device that supports midi show control will be able to receive…

Mist/fog machine setup
You could do it a couple ways. In the past I've done it as two individual dimmers, the advantage here being that it each channel can be assigned to submasters. I've also done it as a profile with intensity controlling haze volume, and then…

Would you mind sending me a copy of your show file? I can't replicate any of these issues on my machine, so hopefully taking a look at your show can shed some light on this. Also, it's crashing to the desktop without an error message due …

This is an oversight, it was removed for testing purposes and it'll be added back in in the next build. That said, your show is saved in the project directory automatically with any change you make. When you load Lightforge it loads right wher…
